| It's been a while since I put something on here, but here goes:
1st Peter 2:9- But ye are a CHOSEN generation (God actually chose us!)
a royal priesthood (get that: Royalty!), a holy nation! A peculiar people (we are different, people should see a difference in us) that you should show for the praises of Him. who has called you out of DARKNESS, into His marvelous light!
I guess that means we should praise the holy name of Jesus, for calling us OUT to HIS LIGHT!
Luke chapter 19 verse 20 tells us that if we with hold our praise, the very rocks will cry out! I don't know about you, but I don't intend to be outdone by any rocks!

| This was written by my mother, a few weeks before she graduated to eternal life, I thought I'd share it with you. Mom was a very godly woman, full of faith, and always thankful.
The Vapor
Lif is truly a vapor, that appears for a while and is gone.
But oh, that vapor has been so full of love and joy and song.
Of course, there have been troubles, and sorrows, and grief, and tears,
but my God has been faithful throughout these many years.
And now my vapor has vanished, from this world, I am now free.
I thank my God for all of you, who have meant so much to me.

| Well, here it is, December 24th. The night before Christmas. Do you realize just exactly what God did for us? I mean, think about it: You know that He took on human form, to die, so that we could be restored to Him, but think about this: He could easliy have taken on the positon of a king, or a mighty ruler, a wealthy man, and that in itself would have been a major humbling, to stoop so low, from being God. But.... He went even further.... He humbled Himself to be born among to poorest, lowliest of all humans.... swadling clothes... born in a manger... my oh my..... think of the love God has for us, to go to such lengths to redeem us. Father, I am so unworthy of Your love, but You loved me anyway! I thank You for this wonderful gift that You presented to us over 2000 years ago, and it still lives on today! | | |
| Something new to post: When we were kids, we used to tease one another with "Mom likes you best" knowing full well that Mom showed no favorites. Just before Mom passed away, she wrote this letter and gave each of us a copy:
My Favorite Child
God gave me five precious children , that were special from the start.
They were conceived in love in my body, but conceived with joy in my heart.
God must have had a favorite, He must have missed him so,
that He took him back to heaven, and it hurt us all to let him go.
But which one is my favorite? It is now time to confess.
Is it Bobby, is it Mike, is it Kenny, is it Jeannie? The answer is "yes"
Each one is my favorite, and I have been blessed.

| Well, this is my zanga, I guess. I'm not sure what all I will put here, but we'll see what happens. My favorite bible verse: Revelation 21: 4-REV 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
